Johnson & Johnson Innovation is seeking a Principal Agentic Workflow & AI Engineer to architect agentic AI workflows for biologics discovery. You will design orchestration, build real-time data pipelines, and mentor engineers across AI/ML initiatives, ensuring high-quality, scalable automation.

Located at Spring House, PA (preferred) with no remote option, you will partner with discovery scientists and enterprise GenAI teams to accelerate cycle times and improve reproducibility in a large pharma

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years building scientific workflow orchestration and automation software.
• Experience with agentic AI and modern LLM-based agents used in lab workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build agentic workflows that automate secondary analysis for biologics discovery.
• Create real-time pipelines linking automation software, data stores, models, and compute.
• Set technical direction and standards for agentic workflows and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with GenAI teams to integrate shared platforms and frameworks.
