Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Principal Engineer Aeronautical - Aircraft Ground and Flight Test to join our Test and Evaluation team onsite.

You will support flight test activities, plan tests, monitor data in real time, process post-flight data, and report results, collaborating with senior engineers and test conductors to ensure safety and compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in STEM or higher with required years of experience.
• Secret clearance or eligibility; DoD in-scope.
• Experience in test planning, flight operations, and generating test artifacts.

Mansioni

• Assist in development of test plans/test cards
• Participate in pre- and post-flight briefs/debriefs
• Monitor flights in a real-time environment, provide support to senior engineers and Test Conductors
• Plan and conduct test missions as approved test conductor, including test deck preparation and coordination with scheduling, maintenance, and telemetry
• Provide support for post flight data processing and analysis as required to support mission objectives
• Provide support in generating data releases and reports to Company and Customer engineering
