Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Principal Actuary for a remote role in the United States. You will support actuarial concepts, lead complex projects, and provide pricing guidance for diverse lines of business. The role collaborates with the Senior Principal Actuary and reports to executives.

Required are an ASA/FSA designation, 8 years of actuarial experience including healthcare/PBM, and advanced Excel with SAS/SQL/VBA proficiency. Excellent communication and mentoring skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics or Finance.
• 8 years actuarial work experience, 6 in a healthcare organization or PBM.
• Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as SME with underwriters, Prime teams, and senior management on pricing initiatives and RFPs.
• Lead, manage, and review data analyses, reporting, and projections.
• Lead complex pharmacy data mining and analyses for actuarial questions.
• Provide strategic pricing advice using market research and modeling.
• Present results to stakeholders and clients; answer detailed questions.
• Lead and mentor Actuarial team members to enhance knowledge.
• Monitor Health Policy changes affecting pricing policies and client programs.
• Ensure work complies with regulations and actuarial standards.
