Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Principal Accountant - Lending to join the Money Movement team in Mountain View. This role focuses on technical accounting and accounting operations for the growing lending business, including term loans and revolving credit, with scale and controls to support rapid growth.

The successful candidate will drive accounting policy, coordinate with internal/external auditors, and deliver timely US GAAP reporting in a SOX-compliant framework, while collaborating with FP&A,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA (or equivalent) required.
• Detailed knowledge of US GAAP technical accounting requirements relevant to lending products (ASC 326, ASC 310, ASC 835, ASC 860, ASC 810, ASC 810).

Responsibilities

• Research and document technical accounting matters and ensure requirements are applied.
• Partner with Product, Legal, Capital Markets to assess implications of new lending products.
• Own accounting policies for lending products and coordinate with auditors.
