Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University seeks a skilled staff member to coordinate and support primate research projects, including protocol scheduling, regulatory reporting, and data analysis. You will work with laboratories and animal care units to ensure compliance and efficient study execution.

The role involves developing budgets, training staff, and contributing to research tools and imaging analyses. A Master’s in a related field plus experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Master's in a relevant field and 1 year of related experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Strong communication, data management, and reporting skills.
  • Experience with Excel-based data analysis and presentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support 75+ ongoing and new non-human primate project protocols annually.
  • Schedule procedures with internal and external laboratories and communicate with research and animal program units.
  • Prepare written reports, regulatory documents, and manuscript/grant materials.
  • Develop and maintain study budgets to support over 1000 rhesus macaques across 75+ projects.
