Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and professional staff.
• Ability to assist with research support at the level that the individual is trained.
• A valid Driver's License and the ability to drive DCM/ONPRC vehicles on and off campus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine animal husbandry procedures including feeding, watering, and handling of animals.
• Assist with animal health management procedures, including weighing, TB testing, and blood collections.
• Handle, restraint, identification and sexing of laboratory animals.
• Sanitize animal housing, shelters, equipment and facilities.
• Assist with facility maintenance and supply management.
• Interact with investigative staff in a professional, service-oriented manner.
