Job summary

ERC Pathlight is seeking a Primary Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy for adults and youth with eating disorders and related conditions. You will develop individualized treatment plans and work with an interdisciplinary team to implement them across multiple sites in Illinois.

The role requires graduate-level training in psychology or a related field, a provisional license, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related (required).
• Provisional therapy license with appropriate state licensing board (required).
• Has carried individual and/or family caseload for at least 18 months (required).
• Has obtained and maintains an independent mental health license as required by state to practice individual therapy (required).
• Has carried significant individual and/or family caseload for at least 2 years (required).

Responsibilities

• Facilitates curriculum-based groups and ensures proper documentation.
• Provides meal monitoring and support with coaching and skills per treatment team.
• Conducts psychotherapy sessions including individual and family therapy.
• Completes required documentation of weekly contact with outpatient providers and family members.
• Prepares treatment plans, progress notes, wellness and aftercare plans, and discharge summaries.
• Participates in treatment team meetings and clinical supervision.
• Supports milieu management, crisis de-escalation, and safety assessments.
