Job summary

BriteLife Recovery on Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking a dedicated Primary Therapist to join our mission-centered behavioral health team. You will provide addiction treatment services, including assessments and individual, group, and family therapy under the Clinical Director’s supervision.

Under a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive environment, you will collaborate with Case Management, document in the EMR, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and contribute to discharge

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health required.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• Licensure toward specialization and CADC/CAADC/ADC/AADC preferred.
• Professional clinical license (LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT) strongly preferred.
• Experience in substance use disorders treatment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Assess clients using DSM-5 criteria.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with clients to develop client-centered, recovery-oriented treatment plans with measurable objectives.
• Provide substance abuse treatment services as per treatment plans.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ASAM six dimensions and document accordingly.
• Collaborate with Case Management on discharge/transfer plans.
• Contact referral sources for case consultation as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Document all services in the EMR within required timeframes.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
• Maintain professional presentation aligned with BriteLife Recovery’s values.
• Rotation in Family Program, as assigned.
• Adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
