BriteLife Recovery in NY is seeking a Primary Therapist to provide clinical services and interventions supporting recovery from addiction within our mission-centered program. You will conduct assessments, individual, group, and family therapy under the Clinical Director, develop client-centered treatment plans, document in the EMR, and collaborate with Case Management to ensure smooth transitions of care.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in behavioral health and be pursuing licensure;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health required.
• Master’s degree in behavioral health preferred.
• State certification (CASAC/CADC) strongly preferred.
• Professional clinical license preferred (LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT).
• Experience in substance use disorders treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Conduct DSM-5 based assessments.
• Develop client-centered treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Document services in the EMR within required timeframes.
• Collaborate with Case Management for discharge/transfer planning.
