Job summary

Monte Nido Houston, a residential treatment program in Conroe, TX, seeks a full-time Primary Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team. The schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, with on-site responsibilities including individual, group, and family therapy and coordination with families and outpatient providers.

You will work with adults with eating disorders, providing therapeutic meal support, discharge planning, and collaboration with insurance for pre-certification and utilization management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline required.
• State license or license-eligibility in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC).
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy.
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers.
• Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food.
• Provide safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstances.
• May support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed.
