Job summary

Monte Nido Laurel Hill in Medford, MA is seeking a Primary Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This full-time, on-site role supports adults with eating disorders and related conditions, with a schedule Sunday–Thursday.

You will provide individual, group, and family therapy, coordinate with families and outpatient providers, handle insurance pre-certifications, and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum.
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities
• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.
