Monte Nido Houston, located in Conroe, TX, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for eating and exercise disorders. We are seeking a full-time Primary Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, with an anticipated Tuesday-Saturday schedule.

Our care focuses on restoring physiological balance, healthy eating, and motivation for recovery. The role involves individual, group, and family therapy, liaising with families and outpatient providers, and possible

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related field.
• State license or eligible in a counseling field (e.g., LMFT/LCSW/LPC).
• Experience with eating disorders or higher levels of care is helpful.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
• Serve as liaison with families and outpatient providers.
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participate in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Offer therapeutic meal support and model a healthy relationship with food.
• Provide safe, empathetic, and affirming care tailored to each client.
• May support telehealth services as needed, including during low census.

Monte Nido Houston, located in Conroe, TX, is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’s treatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a full-time Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team. Anticipated schedule is Tuesday-Saturday.

• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
