Job summary

Monte Nido in Conroe, TX seeks a full-time Primary Therapist to join a multidisciplinary treatment team. The role emphasizes individual, group, and family therapy, liaising with families and outpatient providers, and contributing to discharge and aftercare planning onsite.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related field with licensure or licensure-eligibility, and experience with eating disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline is required.
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC) is required or preferred.
• Experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy.
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers.
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food.
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client.
• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed.

Monte Nido located in Conroe, TX is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Monte Nido’streatment approach focuses on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance, implementation of healthy eating and exercise routines, elimination of harmful behaviors, and development of motivation and treatment engagement. Our objective is to help each client achieve a clear understanding of their eating and/or exercise disorder and its effect on their life, as well as an individualized appreciation of what is necessary for their personal recovery.

We are seeking a full-time Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team. Anticipated schedule is Tuesday-Saturday

• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
