Job summary

Monte Nido in Conroe, TX seeks a full-time Primary Therapist to join a multidisciplinary treatment team. The role emphasizes individual, group, and family therapy, liaising with families and outpatient providers, and contributing to discharge and aftercare planning onsite.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related field with licensure or licensure-eligibility, and experience with eating disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline is required.
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC) is required or preferred.
• Experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy.
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers.
• Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management.
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning.
• Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food.
• Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client.
• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed.
