Job summary

Newport Healthcare in Kirkland, WA seeks a Primary Therapist to join our clinical team, treating adolescents in PHP/IOP programs with an integrative and holistic approach. The role involves ABFT-informed therapy, risk assessments, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, including a psychiatrist, to drive treatment goals and outcomes.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a relevant field or enrollment in a Doctorate program, state licensure or licensure-eligible status, and

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field, or be enrolled in a Doctorate program.
• Board-eligible or licensed in the state: LMHCA, AMFT, LSWAIC or Psychologic Associate; licensure strongly preferred.
• Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions with adolescents.
• Serve as primary clinical contact for families and ensure proactive communication.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans; perform biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
