Job summary

Recovery Unplugged Behavioral Health is seeking a Primary Therapist to join our clinical team. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients through recovery.

The role involves psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing documentation in the EMR, with adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements. Licensure is required where applicable, and a passion for helping clients achieve lasting

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in counseling/behavioral health field.
• Active state licensure or certification required, where applicable.
• Experience in behavioral health/substance use treatment settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and treatment team members.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the EMR.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision.
• Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality regulations.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Primary Therapist to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy services while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support clients throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy services in accordance with clinical best practices and regulatory standards.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and participate in treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on client needs and progress.
• Facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other treatment team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare services to support long-term recovery success.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and clinical supervision as required.
• Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and all applicable regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.
• Active state licensure or certification required, where applicable.
• LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LCPC, LPCC, or comparable independent clinical licensure preferred.
• Experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment settings preferred.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnoses, treatment planning, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and case management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
