Job summary

Recovery Unplugged is seeking compassionate Behavioral Health Technicians to support clients through treatment in a safe, structured environment. You will build professional relationships, monitor activity, and assist with admissions, discharges, and documentation, while coordinating with clinical staff to support care goals.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, with the opportunity to work across shifts in a treatment-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, healthcare, social services, or substance use treatment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, professional relationships with clients while providing support and encouragement throughout treatment.
• Maintain a safe and structured environment by monitoring client activities and enforcing program guidelines.
• Complete client admissions and discharge processes, including documentation and inventory of personal belongings.
• Conduct drug and alcohol screening procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Perform routine client safety checks and document observations accurately and timely.
• Assist with transportation, appointments, and other client needs as required.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the facility.
• Collaborate with clinical and medical staff to support client care and treatment goals.
• Complete all required documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Respond appropriately to client concerns, emergencies, and crisis situations.
