Job summary

Connex Education Partnership in Bradford seeks a Primary Teacher to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 within a network of partner schools. The role offers flexible day-to-day supply and longer-term opportunities, with placements matched to your experience and preferences and no planning required for most day-to-day assignments.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
• Recent lead classroom teaching experience in a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Solid understanding of the National Curriculum across the primary phase.
• Commitment to inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
• Right to Work in the UK and DBS check.
• Willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS via Update Service.

Primary Teacher

Location: Bradford | Pay: £844–£1,162 per week PAYE | Contract: Full-time and part-time supply and long-term opportunities

Connex Education is working with a broad network of primary schools across Bradford to recruit reliable and enthusiastic Primary Teachers. This role offers flexible day-to-day supply and longer-term opportunities across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. As a Primary Teacher, you will create purposeful and inclusive learning experiences that help pupils develop academically, socially and personally. Partner schools include nurturing community settings and larger academy environments, offering a range of teaching contexts. The Connex Education team will take time to understand your teaching strengths, preferred key stages and career objectives before matching you with suitable assignments.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification; candidates working towards QTS may be considered where appropriate.
• Recent experience working as the lead classroom teacher within a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• A secure understanding of the National Curriculum across the primary phase.
• A commitment to promoting positive outcomes, inclusion and wellbeing for all pupils.
• The Right to Work in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
