Connex Education is recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work across thriving academies and maintained primary schools in Taunton.

We offer flexible day-to-day, part-time and long-term full-time opportunities with a large in Somerset. Competitive daily rates and weekly PAYE, plus developer training resources and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• QTS certification or eligible to teach in UK primary schools.
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS to KS2.

Primary Teachers Needed!

Location: Taunton

Salary: £150 – £233 per day (PAYE)

Connex Education is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to work across a range of thriving academies and maintained primary schools in Taunton.

We are working exclusively with a large and highly respected Multi-Academy Trust (BWMAT) that supports a wide network of schools across Somerset. The Trust is recognised for its inclusive values, strong community focus, supportive leadership and commitment to nurturing both pupils and staff. Many of the schools have strong links to their local communities and place a high emphasis on wellbeing, collaboration, and high-quality teaching and learning.

We are looking for passionate educators who can make a positive impact in EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classrooms. Roles can vary to suit your needs, we can officer flexible day to day or part time and full-time long-term opportunities!

The Role

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons across primary age groups
• Work flexibly across a network of supportive academies and maintained primary schools in Highbridge
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Adapt confidently to different classroom settings
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Mark work, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback to support pupil achievement in long-term placements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
