Job description

• Engage directly in the capital-raising process for premier private equity firms worldwide
• Work closely with the Fund Placement and Distribution team
• Represent Harris Williams throughout the entire client engagement
• Support diverse projects involving private equity, private credit, hedge funds, real estate, venture capital, tax equity, and co-investments
• Build relationships with family offices, funds of funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, and pensions
• Participate in hands‑on onboarding, training, mentorship, and learning opportunities
• Respond quickly to emails and calls in an on‑call, in‑office role
• Stay aligned with the team on active workstreams and upcoming tasks
• Quality‑check personal and teammates' work products for accuracy
• Seek feedback after key deliverable completion and work ahead on upcoming tasks
• Communicate thoughts and ideas verbally and in writing during internal and client/C‑suite discussions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Understanding of Excel formulas, data validation, macros, tables, and conditional formatting
• Understanding of financial principles, terminology, and concepts
• Ability to identify trends in data and articulate their impact
• CRM/Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required
• Comparable combination of education, job‑specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
