Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks a registered nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and manage transitions of care in a primary care outpatient setting. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and participate in ongoing learning and leadership activities.

The role requires RN licensure in the state, BLS certification, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program or higher as recognized by nursing accreditation bodies.
• At least 1 year RN experience in an applicable care setting or LPN experience at Mayo Clinic for certain hires.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and direct patient care, education, and transitions of care.
• Collaborate with providers and other Care Team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Provide leadership through preceptor roles and quality improvement efforts.
• Mentor and teach staff and participate in committees or projects.
• May drive a personal vehicle as part of the role.
