Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a registered nurse to join the Primary Care Community Internal Medicine Outpatient practice. The RN coordinates nursing care, provides patient and family education, and supports transitions of care in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

The role requires a BSN, RN license, at least 1 year of RN experience, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends; sponsorship options may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program as recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• RN experience of at least 1 year.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills with EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and patient education across care transitions.
• Provide direct patient care in outpatient settings and via telehealth.
• Collaborate with care teams and providers to ensure quality care.
• Lead and mentor through preceptor roles and quality improvement efforts.
