Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a dedicated Primary Care RN for a Charlotte, NC clinic. The role is full-time, days, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week in the South Park area.

You will carry out treatments, start IVs, monitor patient responses, document care, triage calls, and advise on appropriate care pathways. Active NC RN license and BLS are required; Primary Care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of RN experience required.
• Primary Care experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out provider-ordered treatments and administer medications
• Start IVs, administer IV fluids, and monitor patient responses
• Complete medication refills, prior authorizations, forms, and electronic orders
• Triage patient calls and determine the appropriate urgency and level of care
• Direct patients to a provider, urgent care, or the emergency department when appropriate
• Participate in emergency response procedures when necessary
• Support Medical Assistants and help maintain efficient patient flow
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient communication
