Job summary

Phaxis is seeking a dedicated RN in Charlotte, NC to support a Gastroenterology outpatient surgery center. You will provide patient care, administer medications, and assist in pre- and post-op procedures in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role offers daytime, Monday through Friday scheduling with a 40-hour workweek. BLS is required, and an active NC RN license (or compact) is needed to join this supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of RN experience required
• GI experience preferred but not required
• BLS certification required
• Active North Carolina RN license (or compact)

Responsibilities

• Carry out provider-ordered treatments and administer medications.
• Start IVs and IV fluids and monitor patient responses.
• Complete refills, prior authorizations, forms, and electronic orders.
• Triage patient calls and determine urgency and level of care.
• Direct patients to a provider, urgent care, or emergency department when appropriate.
• Assist in emergency response procedures when necessary.
• Support Medical Assistants and help maintain efficient patient flow.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient communication.

Location - Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne area)
Position - RN Gastroenterology Pre-op and Post-op Outpatient Surgery Center
Schedule - Days, Monday through Friday

- 40 hours/week
