Job summary

Vera Whole Health is seeking a Physician General Primary Care to serve East Point and West Marietta, GA. You’ll care for 10–15 patients daily with a dedicated care team, focusing on preventive and chronic care within a value-based, population health framework.

You will work in a two-center Georgia market with onsite lab and pharmacy, and you’ll lead in care coordination, documentation, and performance improvements aligned with Vera’s patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency completed.
• ABMS board certification (ABFM/ABIM) or AOA.
• Minimum 3 years of primary care experience.
• Current medical license and DEA number.
• Vaccination proof (Hep B) and TB testing.
• Experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred).
• Experience with coding and Medicare Advantage/HCC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver primary care to 10–15 patients per day with 30–60 minute visits.
• Provide care within a care team including a health coach and onsite lab/pharmacy.
• Develop biopsychosocial patient care plans aligned with Vera’s medical home model.
• Lead team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with care team to meet contractual obligations and population health goals.
• Cover after-hours shifts as part of region-wide provider rotation.
