Job summary

Vera Whole Health is seeking a physician in Washington to deliver evidence-based primary care in a value-based model. You will see 10–15 patients daily with support from an on-site care team, including a health coach, to provide whole-person care that addresses social, psychological, and physical health.

You will work with the team to develop biopsychosocial care plans, perform exams and diagnostics, and coordinate with the onsite lab and pharmacy.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active license
• Completion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency
• Board certification by ABMS/ABFM/ABIM or AOA
• Minimum 3 years of primary care experience
• Proof of negative TB test within 12 months
• Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and HCC coding
• Experience with Google Workspace

Responsibilities

• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Vera Whole Health
• Provide evidence-based primary care to 10–15 patients per day focusing on prevention and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with the care team including an onsite health coach to develop biopsychosocial plans
• Perform health histories, physicals, diagnostics, and prescribe medications with onsite lab/pharmacy
• Drive annual whole health evaluations and health promotion activities
• Provide clinical leadership and participate in team meetings and committees
• Meet customer contractual needs and rotate after-hours coverage
• Contribute to organizational process improvements
