Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a per-diem Primary Care Physician at the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center. You will provide medical assessments, treat emergent, urgent, and routine issues, and supervise care for chronic conditions in a correctional setting.

Work under the Site Medical Director and collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient, clinically appropriate services. This role offers meaningful impact within correctional healthcare and a diverse patient

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited school is required.
• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Board Certified/Eligible in FM/IM/EM Primary Care.
• Current DEA and CDS registrations are required.
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check.

We are currently seeking a Per-diem Primary Care Physician at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center in Baltimore, MD.

The Primary Care Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Primary Care Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director and collaborates with the Health Services Administrator to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.
