Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Primary Care Physician for the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center in Baltimore, MD. The role covers medical assessments, treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and collaboration with the Site Medical Director to ensure efficient, clinically appropriate care in a correctional setting.

The position offers a day shift, active MD/DO licensure, and eligibility for credentialing in a mission-driven healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license.
• Board Certified/Eligible in FM/IM/EM Primary Care.
• Current DEA and CDS registration.
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check.
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assessments and evaluations.
• Treat emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues.
• Provide and supervise treatment for chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with Site Medical Director and Health Services Administrator.
• Help implement organizational disease/injury prevention initiatives.
