Centurion Health seeks a Primary Care Physician at the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center in Baltimore, MD. The role entails medical assessments, treatment of acute and chronic conditions, and collaboration with site leadership to deliver high-quality care in a correctional setting.

Monday–Friday day shift. Candidates must have an MD or DO, an active license, and Board Certification/Eligibility in FM/IM/EM Primary Care, plus DEA and CDS registrations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license.
• Board Certified/Eligible in FM/IM/EM Primary Care.
• Current DEA and CDS registrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical assessments and evaluations for patients at Baltimore Central Booking.
• Treat emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues; supervise treatment of chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with the Site Medical Director and Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient, clinically appropriate care.

We are currently seeking a Primary Care Physician at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center in Baltimore, MD.

Monday - Friday Day Shift

The Primary Care Physician provides medical assessments and evaluations, provides treatment for emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, provides and supervises medical treatment for chronic medical conditions, and participates in organizational initiatives to help prevent diseases and injuries of patients in a correctional setting. The Primary Care Physician works under the direction of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director and collaborates with the Health Services Administrator to ensure that efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
• Board Certified/Eligible in FM/IM/EM Primary Care required
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and (CDS) registration
• Correctional Healthcare experience preferred not required
• Ability to pass credentialing and background check
