The Physician - PACT - Primary Care (Intermittent) position is with the Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs. The role supports the Northern California VA Health Care System (NCHCS) with full-time clinical duties in a team setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating outpatient care, performing histories and exams, prescribing medications, ordering tests, and providing patient education.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
• Full and unrestricted medical license in any US state or territory.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate care for a panel of outpatients within the NCHCS.
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic health problems in the clinic setting.
• Perform histories and physical exams and document findings and plans.
• Prescribe medications and order routine labs/imaging and interpret results.
• Serve as a preceptor for residents as assigned.
