Job summary

The Dayton VA Medical Center is recruiting a full-time PACT Physician Assistant within Primary Care Service.

The PA will dedicate 100% of time to PACT and provide team-based care to veterans. This role requires current BLS; ACLS is desirable, with work hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telework is not available. Salary follows federal pay scales, with relocation incentives not authorized.

Qualifications

• Current BLS required / ACLS desirable.
• Education must be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for federal employment.
• If using foreign education, you must submit a Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with your transcript.

Responsibilities

• Duties include 100% time in PACT within Primary Care Service.
• Participate in educational programs for service personnel and medical staff.
• Monitor quality, safety and appropriateness of patient care in Primary Care.
• Attend Primary Care Service monthly management meetings and participate in staff committees.
• Complete medical records in accordance with bylaws and rules; participate in CME activities.
