Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA) seeks a Primary Care Physician to deliver equitable, value-based care to Medicare patients in a neighborhood primary care setting. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patient care, prescribe medications, and coordinate with Practice Managers to meet quality goals.

The ideal candidate is an MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, holding an active US license and DEA registration.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license and DEA registration.
  • US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patient care.

  • Collaborate with leadership to meet quality goals.
  • Lead and manage care teams with Practice Managers.

Job description

Responsibilities Include

  • Prescribing medications and treatments
  • Maintaining electronic medical records
  • Collaborating with leadership to meet quality goals
  • Leading and managing care teams in coordination with Practice Managers
  • Performing other assigned duties
Qualifications
  • MD or DO graduate with Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted medical license and DEA registration
  • US work authorization
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Geriatrics fellowship or experience in geriatric care
  • Experience in value-based healthcare and outpatient primary care
  • Collaborative practice experience and bilingual skills, where applicable
