Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in the United States seeks a full-time physician to provide comprehensive primary care within a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT).

The role leads a multidisciplinary group including RN, LPN, and clerical staff to deliver patient-centered care. Responsibilities include history taking, physical exams, ordering labs, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and coordinating care across services.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required.
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States or District of Columbia.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care within a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT).
• Lead a multidisciplinary team including RN, LPN, and clerical staff.
• Perform history taking, physical exams, orders/labs, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other services to meet VA performance measures.
