Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks a Physician for PACT Primary Care at the Atlanta VA Healthcare System. The incumbent will deliver primary care services, perform exams, and manage patient panels across ATLVAMC and Community-Based Outpatient Clinics.

Clinical duties include exams, dictation, documentation per policy, care coordination, and participation in education and administrative activities.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when VA policy allows.
• Current - full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the United States.
• Residency training approved by the VA or equivalent training pathway.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to a patient panel and perform exams per policy.
• Dictate and document notes and order diagnostic studies as needed.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other health programs as required.
• Maintain CPRS documentation standards and participate in administrative meetings.
