Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a physician to deliver comprehensive general medicine services to veterans in a primary care setting.

The physician will practice within the General Medicine Service, providing high-quality care and patient-centered clinical practice. The position emphasizes adherence to VHA policies, board certification/eligibility considerations, and the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Must meet VA qualification standards and basic medical licensure.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required or eligibility as per VA policy.
  • Board eligible/certified in the preferred specialty (Internal/Family Medicine) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care and medical services to a panel of veterans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications within the clinical privileges of the position.
  • Work schedule typically days; exact times to be determined at selection.
