Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking a primary care physician to deliver high-quality outpatient care to Veterans in a full-time capacity. The physician will work within an integrated healthcare team, coordinate services, and participate in educational activities with affiliated academic centers.

The role requires an MD degree, full US licensure, and a commitment to comprehensive patient care, preventive services, and team-based management in a VA setting.

Qualifications

• MD degree required with full licensure in the United States.
• Proven ability to provide primary care in outpatient settings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care for primary care patients in clinic.
• Coordinate care with an expanded healthcare team (PACT).
• Prescribe medications within defined scope of practice.
• Order labs, imaging, EKGs, and preventive services.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and treatments.
