Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Physician for the PACT program at the Joseph Maxwell Cleland Atlanta VA Healthcare System. This role includes providing comprehensive primary care services, managing patient care, and fulfilling administrative responsibilities within a team.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen; non-citizens may only be appointed if qualified citizens are unavailable.
• Must have completed residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
• Two years of primary care experience including full scope of women's health primary care.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services for a panel of patients and manage care.
• Screen and evaluate unscheduled patients; document procedures as per policy.
• Adhere to operational policies and participate in educational meetings.

Skills

Proficiency in spoken and written English

Board-certified in Internal Medicine

Primary care experience

Ability to perform essential functions

Education

Degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent

Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine
