Job summary

The Ironton-Lawrence County Community Action Organization seeks a physician to join its Family Medical Center in Ohio. You will diagnose, treat, and refer patients in a patient-centered medical home, delivering care with compassion and integrity while upholding medical standards.

We value strong listening and communication skills and require a medical degree, state license, DEA, BLS, and ongoing CME. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathic medicine.
• Current unrestricted license from the State of Ohio Medical Board to practice as a physician in Ohio.
• Annual continual medical education as required by Board Specialty.
• Must be registered and have a current unrestricted DEA certificate.
• Current copy of BLS (Basic Life Support) Card.
• Must not be excluded from Federal or State Health Care Programs.
• Strong listening, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to understand and respond effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a clinic setting per Family Medical Center employment contract, including diagnoses, treatment, and referrals.
• Deliver patient care with utmost customer service, compassion, and integrity; maintain medical standards.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate should be committed to helping the patient population (includes uninsured and underinsured) reach optimal health can support the plans and operations within a Patient-Centered Medical Home. The candidate will provide direct patient care as outline in the Family Medical Center employment contract including diagnoses, treatment and/or proper referral while maintaining expected medical standards. Provide patient care with utmost customer service, compassion, and integrity to patients/clients in a clinic setting.
