Job summary

The Ironton And Lawrence County Area Community Action Organization (ILCAO) seeks a licensed practical nurse to join our Family Medical Centers. The LPN will support clinicians with clinical and administrative tasks, uphold patient-centered care, and help ensure efficient operations in a community-focused clinic.

The ideal candidate holds an active LPN license in Ohio, a high school diploma, and completion of an accredited LPN program, with at least one year in a medical office or similar setting.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited LPN program.
• One year of experience in a medical office or similar customer service role is preferred; knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
• LPN licensure must be active and unencumbered in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers with clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
• Support patient-centered care in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Job Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse is vital in providing quality care within the Family Medical Centers. This position assists medical providers with clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations and excellent patient care. The LPN is expected to perform duties in compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and patient-centered care principles.

Qualification

• Education High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Program
• Experience One year's experience in a medical office or similar customer service role; knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is an asset.
• Licensure Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice.
