Job summary

CenterWell Primary Care, a Humana subsidiary, is seeking a Primary Care Physician for the CenterWell Bossier City, LA clinic to provide hands-on patient care and address social determinants of health. The role reports to the Associate Medical Director and is onsite in Bossier City.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain).
• Current, unrestricted DEA license.

Responsibilities

• See 12-15 patients per day with longer 45-minute appointments.
• Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care.
• Onsite and in-person at the CenterWell Bossier City, LA clinic.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

As a Primary Care Physician, you will report to the Associate Medical Director and work onsite and in‑person at the CenterWell Bossier City, LA clinic.

A day in the life of a CenterWell physician

• Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Join an experienced team with an established patient panel
• See 12-15 patients per day; opportunity to spend more time with patients
• Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes)
• Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient‑facing time and general administrative time as it relates to direct patient care

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain)
• Current, unrestricted DEA license

Pay Range

$255,000 - $298,500 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan, which is based on company and/or individual performance.
