CenterWell Primary Care, a Humana subsidiary, seeks a primary care physician for the DeSoto, TX clinic. You will provide comprehensive geriatric-focused care, addressing patient needs in the exam room and considering social determinants of health that affect outcomes.

Join a dedicated team with a strong patient panel, limited call, and a base salary plus annual bonus. The role emphasizes thoughtful patient care and long, meaningful visits to improve overall well-being.

Competenze

• MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in geriatrics, family, or internal medicine.
• Current, unrestricted Texas medical license (or willingness to obtain)
• Current, unrestricted DEA license.

Mansioni

• See 12–15 patients per day with longer 45-minute appointments.
• Spend 100% of time on direct patient care, including patient-facing and related admin.
• Address social determinants of health to improve outcomes.

CenterWell Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is looking for a primary care physician for the DeSoto, TX clinic. You will have the opportunity take a hands-on approach, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and look beyond to understand how social determinants of health are affecting health outcomes. We have a unique care model that sets us apart for patients and providers. We are experts in senior-focused primary care with a versatile approach.

A Day In The Life Of a CenterWell Physician

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
• Join an experienced team with an established patient panel
• See 12-15 patients per day. Opportunity to spend more time with patients
• Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes)
• Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, inclusive of patient-facing time and general administrative time as it relates to direct patient care

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain)
• Current, unrestricted DEA license

Preferred Qualifications

Use your skills to make an impact

• Minimum of two+ years of experience
• 1+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients
• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage.
• Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$255,000 - $298,500 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
