Job summary

BestMed Clinics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care team in Oregon. You’ll deliver comprehensive outpatient care, perform procedures, and coordinate referrals.

The role includes occupational and telemedicine care, with dedicated support and modern facilities. We offer a competitive compensation package, a 4‑day work week with no weekends, and a dedicated Medical Assistant.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or ability to obtain.
• DOT certification within 60 days of hire.
• DEA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient patient care and procedures typical of primary care.
• Deliver care, treatment, and referrals as needed.
• Coordinate referrals for specialties not provided by the clinic.
• Evaluate patients, perform physical exams, establish diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Perform clinical procedures within scope and skill.
• Communicate diagnosis and treatment goals to patients.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR with CDI focus.
• Support occupational and telemedicine patient care.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Director.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an primary care setting
• Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
• Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
• Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
• Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
• Perform other job‑related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director

What’s Required:

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in thestateor the ability to obtain
• Ability to obtain:

• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation:

Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range.
