Job summary

BestMed Clinics, part of Community Care Partners, seeks Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for its primary care team in Oregon. The role emphasizes outpatient care, team-based practice, and delivery of comprehensive care, with strong support from experienced clinicians and modern facilities.

We offer a competitive compensation package with RVU-based pay, a 4-day work week with no weekends, built-in admin time, and a dedicated Medical Assistant to support patient care.

Qualifications

  • Current, unrestricted PA or NP license.
  • Ability to obtain DOT certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Ability to obtain DEA licensure.
  • Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient patient care including procedures typical of primary care.
  • Delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
  • Arrange referrals for specialties not provided by the organization.
  • Evaluate patients and establish diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Perform clinical procedures within scope and skill.
  • Communicate diagnosis and treatment goals to patients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR with proper coding.
  • Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care.
  • Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Medical Director.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care on an outpatient basis to include procedures normally performed in an primary care setting
  • Responsible for the delivery of care, treatment, and referrals.
  • Arrange for referral resources for those medical specialties not provided by the organization for patients of the clinic
  • Evaluate patients to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
  • Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
  • Maintains accurate, complete, concise, and timely documentation with a focus on proper level coding and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) in the electronic medical record
  • Ability to perform occupational and telemedicine patient care
  • Perform non-patient facing duties such as lab and x-ray review
  • Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Medical Director
What’s Required:
