Beacon Health System in Michigan seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to coordinate and deliver primary care under supervision. The role includes assembling patient histories, performing exams, ordering labs, and formulating treatment plans in collaboration with the Practice Site Physician.

You will educate patients, maintain records, triage calls, and participate in interdisciplinary care conferences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies with applicable national certification is required.
• Bilingual speaking and/or writing skills are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and deliver primary care in collaboration with the Practice Site Physician.
• Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients.
• Interpret data to determine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Perform complete physical exams and record findings; manage acute and long-term medical needs.
• Order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Synthesize data to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapy plan.
• Administer medications and injections per physician direction; suture minor lacerations.
• Instruct patients on medications and treatment instructions; provide prevention guidance.
• Maintain and review patient records and test results; triage calls.
• Coordinate or manage medical and surgical emergencies when appropriate.
• Provide continuity of care between physician visits.
