Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing.

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment.
• Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies; conducts preventative care and immunizations.
• Provides direct treatment and management of health conditions via referrals as needed.
• Counsels and educates patients and families on prevention, treatment options, and community resources.
• Documents care delivery in accordance with standards and policy.
