Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to coordinate and deliver primary and nursing care at designated work sites in Indiana. You will work under the Practice Site Physician, providing clinical and administrative support to BMG programs and educating nursing students and residents.

Requirements include an Indiana RN license and NP certification, with prescriptive authority preferred and within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Nursing required.
• Active Indiana RN license.
• Nurse Practitioner certification with prescriptive authority preferred.
• MSN degree preferred; prescriptive authority within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver primary and nursing care with Practice Site Physician for BMG patients.
• Perform complete physical exams and record findings; manage acute and long-term needs.
• Order labs and diagnostic procedures; plan prevention strategies.
• Administer medications and injections; suture minor lacerations.
• Provide patient education and refer to community resources as needed.
• Maintain and review patient records; triage calls; coordinate care with team.
