Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Nurse Clinician for Physician Primary Care in Chicago. This full-time role (40 hours/week) runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Nurse Clinician will assess patients, perform nursing interventions, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians and staff in a multidisciplinary setting. Requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing, active RN license, CPR certification, and at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• RN license for state of employment.
• CPR certification (Basic).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findings.
• Carry out routine nursing duties including phlebotomy and meds administration.
• Triage calls and coordinate patient education and care with teams.
• Communicate with departments to coordinate patient care and referrals.
