Northwestern Memorial Hospital is seeking a Nurse Clinician to join a multidisciplinary team in Chicago. The role involves conducting patient assessments, coordinating nursing interventions, and educating patients and staff across units.

The position requires an RN license, CPR certification, and at least two years of relevant clinical experience. The Nurse Clinician will work with physicians and other health professionals to deliver high‑quality care, follow nursing processes, and maintain

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care environment.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Licensed or eligible for State RN in the employment state.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document in medical records.
• Administer routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medications, vital signs and specimen handling.
• Coordinate care and communicate with physicians and other departments.
• Triage telephone calls and manage urgent situations per protocols.
• Provide patient education to patients and families and participate in community outreach.
