Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• State Licensed Registered Nurse for the state of employment.
• Certification in Basic CPR.
• 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Provide pre-attending care for patients with comprehensive assessments.
• Perform routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medication administration, and vital signs.
• Interpret abnormalities detected in tests and document interventions in the medical record.
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient care.
• Triage and prioritize incoming telephone calls using clinical assessment skills.
• Manage urgent medical situations per organizational protocols for emergencies.
• Initiate and coordinate patient education and staff training.
