Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Nurse Clinician to join a multidisciplinary team in Chicago. The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least two years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care.

Formación

• Associate's degree in Nursing (required).
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (required).
• State Licensed Registered Nurse for State of employment (required).
• Certification in Basic CPR (required).
• 2 years of relevant clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care environment (required).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment; ensure OSHA compliance; supervise care of medical equipment.
• Provide pre-attending care for patients; perform comprehensive assessments; document in medical records.
• Perform routine nursing duties including phlebotomy, medication administration, vital signs; assist with complex procedures.
• Interpret abnormalities from tests and procedures; document interventions clearly in the medical record.
• Coordinate communication with other departments and outside agencies to ensure patient care.
• Triage and prioritize incoming calls using clinical assessment skills; document assessments.
• Manage urgent/emergent medical situations per organization protocols; operate emergency equipment.
• Serve as a resource for staff and physicians; delegate tasks according to Illinois law.
• Initiate and coordinate patient education; provide teaching to staff and participate in community outreach.

Educación

Associate's degree in Nursing

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

State Licensed Registered Nurse for State of employment
